About the Role
Amplitude Acoustics is seeking a passionate and skilled Acoustic Consultant or Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and designers to deliver high-quality outcomes in planning-stage acoustics, building acoustic design, and environmental noise compliance. You’ll take ownership of your projects while working in a supportive, friendly environment that encourages growth, technical development, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects independently from inception through to completion.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Conduct acoustic measurements, analysis, and modelling as needed.
Assist senior consultants and company leadership on a variety of project work.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
o Acoustic Consultant: 1+ years of professional experience
o Senior Acoustic Consultant: 4+ years, including Building Acoustics and Environmental Noise
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and acoustic software such as INSUL, SoundPLAN, or Sound Design.
Education:
o Degree in Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification in Acoustics is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong project management ability
o Full clean driving licence (required)
